Health of the Helper
“It was a like a door opened when I clicked, I could see a whole new level of opportunity and joy.”
I know what it feels like to keep prioritising others above your own needs. What it feels like to be selfless and keep giving. But I’ve also learnt that this is not the way it needs to be.
That we can give more and have more impact when we put ourselves first.
This is being selfish - in a good way!
You’ve heard of the air-mask principle, put your mask on before you help others?
Well that principle exists because you can’t help others if you are not in your own health.
I’m on a mission to end burnout and overwhelm in the helping professions. By looking within and finding the resilience and well-being that you were born with. And having that guide you.
